SAGTA AND CONTAMINATED LAND RESEARCH

SAGTA retains a keen and active interest in supporting appropriate research submissions relevant to UK conditions. SAGTA welcomes the early opportunity to assess well structured proposals and has developed guidelines and assessment protocols. To providing assistance to those who may be considering contacting SAGTA, the protocols are reproduced here

SAGTA organised a Workshop in September 2007 - Research into Land Contamination - What is Needed and Why?

The Workshop involved exchanges and reviews from Europe, CL:AIRE, Technology Strategy Group, the Research Council (in the form of EPSRC), Environment Agency, IPM-NET (now Environmental Sustainability KTn) and SAGTA's representatives. Conclusions and summary of the issues are included in the SAGTA Report. Find it here.
